We worked with J&A to refinish our basement to a large living space, bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and storage areas. Joe not only did an amazing job creating these spaces but was able to correct alot of the problems our developer had left us with. His crew was extermely hardworking and showed up on time every single day. We highly recommend J&A!

Joe went above and beyond with our scheduling and budget constraints to still get our work done to our satisfaction. Joe Mamczij of Joseph & Associates is a full service contractor and real estate professional. He provides high quality service to his clients, and is not satisfied until you are. I worked with him on a major renovation project that took several weeks. During that time, I had several opportunities to witness his genuine concern for quality and his ability to solve problems efficiently and quickly without sacrificing quality. Further, I was able to see the skilled professionals on his team and the teamwork this firm employs to get things done quickly and within budget.
As an example of the cooperation you will receive from him, when I would change my mind during the project about certain details or installations, I would often ask him if we could change this or move that. His answer was always "tell me what you want to do and I'll make it happen". And he always made it work.
After the project was complete, he addressed a few small issues that arose (which is pretty common) quickly and to our complete satisfaction. In my opinion, he has two main concerns: making sure the client is 100% satisfied and getting it done on time and on budget, in that order. I highly recommend him.

After seeing a flyer for Joseph, I decided to try and do some research. Upon googling the company name, I stumbled upon a terrible review here on Yelp. I decided to at least contact Joe and let him give his side of the story.
Once I spoke with Joe, I felt confident that he was a reputable business man and hired him for some roofing and tuck pointing work for my condo association. The work was completed as promised, in a timely fashion, and in a professional manor. In fact, our association was so happy with the work, we've since hired Joe to redo our parking lot as well.
It's truly a breath of fresh air to work with someone who you can trust, and does a good job as well. Thanks Joe.

Joe has been in the real estate and construction business for over 20 years. He is punctual, detail oriented, reliable and fair to everyone.
In doing construction, I got a statement of work proposal with the materials and hours of work laid out. It was delivered about 2 days after a review of the work to be completed. If there were any changes to be made, we discussed this and I received a change order which I approved.
In real estate, I own my first house because of him. It was a fantastic deal and it is still the most trouble-free property I have.
Because of his construction background, he can tell if there are structural, building or foundation problems in the property.
In addition, his knowledge of the city of Chicago can help you also determine the kind of neighborhood you want to live in.
